La Maison des Bois is a delightful and spacious gîte, combining modern living with age old charm and character. Comprising of two separate self catering gîtes, Le Cerisier and the larger gîte Le Poirier, up to 14 family members, friends or, depending on your preference, complete strangers can comfortably relax and enjoy all the wonders La Maison des Bois and the surrounding beautiful French countryside has to offer.
Perfectly situated in the heart of the sunflower growing region of Charente Maritime, La Maison des Bois is only 40 minutes south of La Rochelle and 30 minutes from the wonderful beaches of Châtelaillon-Plage and Fouras.
For those days when all that's required to do is nothing but relax, there is a large swimming pool with sun loungers and cushioned garden furniture to enjoy on those long summer days. For the more active there is table tennis, darts and table football in the games room, along with a multi-gym and boxing bag.
